My name is Alexandra!

I’m the person behind the Cupcake Babies brand and products.

Several years ago, as a single mom of three, I founded the company Aloha Kids, a marketing company revolving around publishing of free guides, one of which Quoi de 9? (loosely translated as What ‘s new?) , destined to advice and help freely pregnant women and young parents in Luxembourg. This was the first guide of this kind in Luxembourg and, naturally, I started getting many comments and questions from moms to be and young parents.

One thing that I noticed, was a question that was asked more often than others – how do we bathe our babies on the go, when not at home, when you don’t have a bathtub, comfortably, without breaking your back?

Being a mother of three children myself, I knew this pain point very well, so I decided to do something about it – and that’s how I got the idea to create an inflatable bath, which can be used almost anywhere, and fit in any type of sink. In addition, I really love cupcakes (I’ve been calling my babies cupcakes ever since they were born) so the idea to make the bath in the form of a cupcake almost naturally came to me.
